Thoroughbred Village wishes to build a digital library, a database of pictures, video and sound. The library will consist of past and present day races, stallions, jockeys, trainers, stud farms, yearlings, syndications, promotional material, rare footage, and original recordings.
To achieve this aim, we are seeking funds to purchase a special piece of computer hardware that will make it possible to transfer video frame-rate footage from a digital video camera (already purchased) to the web server. At present, we have a state-of-the-art digital video camera but no way of downloading anything to the computer. This item will accomplish that task, and more.
Immediate benefits: Pictures, pictures and more pictures! Your favourite horses, people, and places. Footage of the spring carnivals, racetrack sounds and recordings, video footage of the classics, and much more!
The item:
| 1 x DVRaptor-RT |
The DVRaptor-RT is the next generation Digital Video card which links DV cameras to computers. DV footage is captured through an i.LINK connection.

$1,299
The DVRaptor-RT will be purchased from here: DVRaptor-RT |
